  4. Electronic cookbooks can be complicated.
  5. •     Too many screens to navigate.
  6. •     Converting ingredient quantities to their decimal equivalents.
  7. •     A lot of fields to fill-in.
  8. •     A feeling of being lost.
  9. These things make it a hassle to enter recipes, as a result it doesn’t get used.
  10.  
  11. CookWare II allows the user to easily enter recipes like cooks have been doing for centuries, with the benefit of specific quick searches.

  13. Requirements ––––––

  15. CookWare II requires FileMaker Pro. You must have FileMaker Pro installed on your Macintosh for it to function. It also requires 256 colors to display correctly  and 10 & 12 point screen fonts for Times Roman and Times Bold and their equivalent printer fonts for proper display.

  19. MOVE TO MENU: This function moves several recipes to a dinner “Menu” that can be printed.
  20. To accomplish this:
  21. 1) Start by selecting the check box of the desired recipes (as many as you like).
  22. 2) After you have selected all the recipes you want to print click the “Move To” button. All checked recipes will be moved to a print layout where as many recipes that can fit on a page will be printed.
  23. 3) When you are finished printing, click the “LIST” button.
  24. 4) Deselect check boxes.
  25. 5) Click the “FIND ALL” button.

  27. HIDDEN BUTTONS: Clicking on the “i” in the word “List” will take you to the recipe index layout, where you can print the title and course of all the recipes.
  28. Clicking on the “s” in the word “List” will sort - first by course then by name.

PASSWORD: At start up, a password dialog box will appear. Leave it blank and hit return. You will be able to use the program like any other FileMaker Pro file with the exception of being able to print, export, modify scripts and layouts. Please send the shareware fee to receive the password to remove it.
